eSanad

eSanad is online document verification system which aims to provide a centralized platform for contactless, cashless and  paperless document verification and  Attestation/ Apostilling of personal and educational documents which have been issued by document issuing authorities ( DIAs) like municipal corporation, health department, educational board and universities in Punjab (India).

 Steps to be followed for using this online service

  1. The applicant will register and login in the e-Sanad Portal.
  2. Select for Non Pre- Verified Documents
  3. Select document type as personal and the issuing authority state as Punjab.
  4. Select the Deputy Commissioner office under which your residence falls as Document Issuing Authority (DIA)
  5. Fill the required details and upload the documents.
  6. Then proceed to online payment for attestation / Apostille processing fee to e-Sanad System. The user needs to pay Rs. 90/- per Apostille or Rs. 40/- per attestation to the Ministry of Affairs.
  7. E-Sanad portal will generate its acknowledgment receipt after the successful payment.
